This package consists of the stereo and 4 waterproof speakers.

This stereo does not have a CD player. Instead it has a USB port for connecting MP3 players, thumb drives, smart phones and similar devices. The stereo will play MP3 and WMA files while recharging your device. It will also play files from an SD card inserted in the front slot. There is a 3.5 mm aux audio input on the face for patching in the audio from iPods and iPhones. (This stereo does not have the Apple software required for playing music from iPods and iPhones via USB)

This unit is a marine stereo because the circuit boards are plasticoted to prevent corrosion in a humid, salt air environment. It is also constructed with UV resistant materials. It is not waterproof, however, so you should use a cover if you think it will get wet.
